Every company has something they consider to be unique and special, something they do different than everyone else. We rounded up our staff and lay around eating PC's pizza , meatloaves and barkdaycakes wondering what to tell everyone what our specialties really are.
Ralphie thought that the idea that everyone could come in and rub his belly while enjoying a cheese cracker was a pretty special thing.
Fawkes was on the other hand amused that by lying around watching the dogs learn about one another's sent was somewhat entertaining.
Maggie insisted that showing everyone how great the toys were and demonstrating how useful they could be, was indeed an important feature.
Now Emmylou was very persistent about the quality of the bakery, deli and merchandise. By far this was a special feature.
Well it wasn't long before Mousse rose up and barked at the door, not sure why. Whiskers said that you are all wrong; it's what we have stocked in the back making sure that we have what everyone wants, when they want it.
Finley was shocked that no one mentioned that greeting everyone when they came in was something that has been lost in the business world for years, and he enjoyed doing it. As usual Lyle said you don't get it at all, when you keep your books strait it all adds up to keeping everyone happy.
Well hours went by and belly's got full. Everyone was coming and going, wondering round, laughing and having a good time. Mousse rose up and barked at the door, he must want something.
Over in the corner we noticed a couple of canines playing together and really starting a good friendship, even their parents were enjoying a pleasant conversation. Oh look three little poodles are standing at the counter patiently waiting for Choc-O-Lab Brownie . Mousse rose up and barked at the door again.
You know it just came to all of us that it's the idea of being able to go somewhere and be welcomed, have fun, laugh and meet some other fun loving, belly rubbing, gourmet treat eating individuals. That is a specialty that warms the heart.
